I am eager to expand my UX/UI career with new work,
new challenges, collaboration and inspiration. I want to use my skills as a creative strategist, user experience designer, and product manager to help create functional and beautiful projects.
I am currently working full time at the mobile research start-up, Vidlet, alongside a core team of developers, researchers, and recruiters. I was hired to evaluate the company's entire platform and reconstruct it to improve the user flow of a client's research project thru Vidlet. I established three phases to
a project lifecycle - recruitment, research, and delivery. I am responsible for the UX research, UX planning (wireframes etc),
UI design, and management of the product development
priorities, QA, and deployment in each 3 week sprint.
Before joining Vidlet in 2017, I completed an intensive UX course at General Assembly in San Francisco to validate my love of this industry and bring my skills up-to-date with the most current software, processes, and industry standards. I quickly learned that my instincts and work ethic are still on par.
During my time away from UX/UI design work I started a family and focused on raising my two boys. I did freelance design work and I also started my own business as a certified personal trainer. I used all the skills of UX to successfully motivate, teach, inspire, profile, interview, brand manage, build loyalty, cajole, encourage, and otherwise convince people of all ages, and fitness levels to keep going.
I am a volunteer, a mom, a painter and a community activist.
I coordinated the entire elementary school's communications
team from website, Facebook, Twitter, newsletters, banners, notices, emails and Google groups.
I have patience, and ambition.
